I love Snickers, too but…

I noticed the commercial for Snickers using the lovable Betty White and one with of my favorite Divas – Aretha Franklin.
Now if I recall, Aretha Franklin is reported to be diabetic. Now ReRe knows she shouldn’t be eating a Snickers (candy) if the report of her health condition is true.
Now the reality is there are diabetics who don’t eat everything that is recommended to keep their diabetes (blood sugar) under control. I love Snickers but I have to love them from afar.
But if..
Aretha Franklin is seen (to millions) navigating a Snickers toward her mouth as if she is about to eat it…
Is this good to endorse bad habits to people who are diabetic where candy is not listed on their list of ‘Good things to eat to live a longer life’ diabetic list? Is this false advertisement?
